Dear Families,
Our 4th grade students are currently learning about electricity and circuits. Over the course of the unit, students will have an understanding of how circuits work, as well as how to build their own circuit. Each year, we like to end the unit with a project. Typically, we have students build an electric house, but this year, we are expanding it to robots, as well. Students will work in teams to build circuits in their very own cardboard house or create an electric robot, as well as decorate them. Students love showing their understanding and putting their own unique spin on the design of their home or robot.
This project will probably begin the week of . However, we are looking for your help now. Last year, students loved fabric, especially the fabric swatches we were able to receive from furniture stores. If you have any fabric, magazines, or craft supplies you would be willing to donate or save for our project, we would greatly appreciate it. Your donations will help students to create the home of their dreams! Any items you have to donate, may be dropped off or sent in at anytime.
Thank you for your support!

I sent Max in with supplies for this. Did you ever get them?
